In the rush of getting ready for the long North Carolina Jeeping trip this past weekend, I failed to note that as of May 10th, Boyink Interactive is now two years old. Many thanks to all of our clients, suppliers, partners, and site visitors for making the last two years an interesting ride. We’re starting to plan another “BoyinkBoink” celebration grill-out, watch your email for an invite.
The weekend was a blast - in addition to meeting many of the regulars from the EarlyCJ5.com site, I got some seat time in Engine 615, which is a CJ6 similiar to what we’re building. Nothing like riding in an old Fire Jeep (complete with working lights and siren) to bring out the kid in you…;) Many thanks to the Sparks family of North Carolina for hosting me for the weekend.
If you’re able to play .WMV files here’s a short video clip of the weekend’s fun.
Who’d have ever thought that hooking a bunch of computers up to a common wire would lead to dozens of people driving in from several different states to camp in a remote campground and drive (or in some cases pull) old Jeeps through the woods. Way cool.
