Mark’s been making updates to the site. I just sent off a couple more:
1. Even after what, 8-9 years of using post 3.11 Microsoft Windows I still have trouble remembering that:
A. I have to tell my computer to “Start” before I can tell it to “Turn Off”.
B. Even then I have to tell it again to “Turn Off”.
Many’s a night where I wander by my office only to see my computer waiting for me to tell it to turn off the second time.
2. I just discovered through some email interchange with a client who wanted to send me a URL. She uses IE6 and Outlook (as do I), and did the following:
A. In IE6 choose the “File” menu, then “Send”, then “Link By Email”.
B. Outlook comes up with a mail message and the message of “Your files are attached and ready to send with this message.”.
C. She clicks send, confident in having figured out how to accomplish her goals.
The problem is, my copy of Outlook has indentified the “url” file attachment as unsafe, and blocks me from accessing it.
