Some Holland-area news caught my attention yesterday. Back in November I posted about the dismal condition of the Westshore Mall.
Looks like the situation is worse than I thought, with the mall owners beginning to neglect to pay the mortagage.
My prediction is within three years someone will have purchased the mall and either razed it, or completely revamp/rename/rebrand it. Personally I’m leaning towards the first option, as stand-alone stores seem to be the current trend, and Grandville’s Rivertown Crossings fills the need for enclosed mall type shopping.
