Seems as Apple has joined the scumware crowd - they no longer let you download just the free Quicktime Player.  Now you have to also take their iTunes software with it.

Oh, and uninstalling iTunes means you need to reboot your system.

I know free is free…but I don’t recall Apple playing these kind of low-ball games before.
