And just when you’d hope to see the most notorious web usability “guru” check in on AJAX and Web 2.0, Uncle Jake chimes in on….HTML bookmarks.

Although you could certainly apply his summary to some of the applications discussed in the previous article, this one still seemed a bit of a “blast from the past”.

    Interesting read.

    I use these on our FAQ page at [url=http://www.barbourbooks.com]http://www.barbourbooks.com,[/url] simply because our list is small - but I do see exactly what he is saying in regards to users expectations (and have understood this for quite some time now).

    It is very interesting with articles like these that seem very basic. Ignorant developers will respond with assumptions that users are different now - but from my in house research of watching users - they still respond the way that he describes (I guess thats why he does the research).
