I’ve had some requests for pictures of how the TJ seat belts were worked into SSDutch’s rollcage.
Back Seat:
Here’s the rear seat retractor, bolted to a flat steel gusset that’s welded at the joint of the rearmost vertical hoop and side bar that parallels the wheelhouse top:
Here’s the top anchor. The roll bar was drilled out, then a piece of solid steel bar welded in place, then drilled and tapped for the bolt.
Here’s the rear bottom anchor, tied into the bars that run under the back seat:
Latch receptacles are visible in the middle bottom, where they can poke through the back seat when it’s installed.
Front Seats:
This is the retractor, attached in a similar fashion where the side bars of the cage meet the seat tie-in bars:
Upper anchors use the TJ height adjusters, attached in the same fashion as the rear upper anchors:
Latch receptacle mounting is visible in this pic:
Note that I didn’t do the work shown in these pics…the cage was built by a shop that I can’t recommend based on some other issues with the results.
