I spent last weekend down in Murphy, NC at Tellico with a bunch of folks from the EarlyCJ5.com forums. It was my 3rd trip down, and as always I had a great time.
The CJ6 pictured belongs to ECJ5’s John (Code Red) and features a 360 and front/rear lockers. From what I understand (I never got to see the 6 in person, as I rode with a different group) he broke a motor mount while climbing a stretch known as “Guardrail”. The broken motor mount allowed the drivetrain to twist and break either the transfer case or transfer case mount, which mean alot of winching to get the Jeep back down the mountain.
