1964 Jeep CJ6A Tuxedo Park

Another Tux Park CJ6 up for sale.  Can’t quite tell if it’s a ‘glass body (the extended wheelwells and lack of seams where the CJ6 extra sheetmetal is makes me think it is, but bodywork around “JEEP” letters makes me wonder if it isn’t).  The owner says

My son and I got this back in 1998-99 as a project for the two of to work on. We did some mechanical stuff and painted it ourselves.  I used to take it to cruise nights and local shows but I didn’t know much about old Jeeps when I got it. Seems they are really slow and the drive train noise is real loud.

Sounds like heaven to an old Jeeper…

    From what I gather, a member of the EarlyCJ5 board has arranged to purchase this Jeep.  The site is turning into the CJ6 adoption agency!

    Bryan - since the link to the for sale ad is dead, I’d guess the Jeep has sold.  It wasn’t mine, I just posted it here since it was a Tux 6.
