- 1963 Hardtop CJ6 - Tuxedo Park Edition
-
Judging by the serial number, this CJ6 currently being offered on eBay is the 15th Tuxedo Park edition made. This is also evidenced by the column shift, front bench seat, and rear license plate holder. It’s rough, but here’s your chance to own one of the earliest of the one of the rarest Jeep models out there - the CJ6 Tuxedo Park.

EarlyCJ5.com user “jeep4x4greg” has rescued another CJ6. This one is an AMC version, with a V8 drivetrain. Greg writes:
It’s a 1975 cj6, 304, 3spd, d20, the floors are gone and the rockers are almost as bad. doesnt run as some engine parts are missing. The previous owner estimates it’s been sitting for almost 10 years and the thick layer of dust i found inside seems to agree. The hard top is in great shape and the frame and rest of the body are great as well. I plan to fix up the body and box the frame, engine will likely stay the 304, but it will get a Howell TBI, transmission and t-case are up in the air still. I plan to do this as more of a “resto-mod” than a plain restoration.
