1975 CJ6 in Israel

Another CJ6 rescue, this time in Israel.  Via the EarlyCJ5 forums, new owner Ziv writes:

From 1986 I have a 1974 (1971) cj-5 with the 134 engine. Now he have a big brother. They share the parking area and sleep very close, so they can talk about all… You should know that it is a very rare model in Israel. Most of the cj-6 with the 6 cyl. engines came from a local factory based on imported staff (from the U.S.). They got a boxed frame, no Jeep logo stamp.  Im going to restore it to original. And as you can see, i have a lot of work to do !

Judging by the pic, this guy is very brave to take on a project like that, wow!

FYI, you got some great pics here…love looking at the old Jeeps. I have to leave the site quickly though before I’m tempted to bid on one of the ebay relics…wife wouldn’t be happy.  :)
