1970 CJ6 - All Original

Here’s a beauty - a 1970 CJ6 currently on eBay.  More pictures and details…

1970 Jeep CJ6

ONLY 19,000 ORIGINAL MILES!!!

This is a REAL 19K MILE CJ6! She is all stock!

The Interior of this rig is almost Flawless. Everything Works including; Blinker, Flashers, Lights, Wipers, Heater, Odometer, Speedometer, and the Temperature Gauge. The seats look awesome. The floor is lined in Black Rubber, along with Rubber Floor Mats. There are two sets of Rifle Racks (inside).

The Powertrain consists of a Buick V6 from the Factory, a 3-Speed Manual Transmission, and Warn Locking Hubs.

The Factory Ramsey Winch is Great! There are two Military Style Gas Cans on the back. She has a Tow Package and a Swinging Spare Tire Holder.

The Soft Top is in Excellent Condition. The windows are clear and the zippers all work properly. I even have the boot for the top and it is STILL IN THE BOX!!! She also has a folding windshield.

This Jeep is AWESOME! It fires right up and drives like Great (for a 1970 model)! It passed Texas Safety Inspection with no problem! There is a vertical crack in the windshield. The paint does have a couple of small scratches here and there. Overall the paint is good, but there are some spots that you can tell the Jeep is 37 Years old.

I have lots of extra parts for this rig including; Spark Plugs, Oil Filters, Fuel Filters, Wiper Blades, Light Bulbs, Oil Pan, even an extra Fan for the Engine.

The Records of this CJ are endless. I have never seen anything like it. The previous owner kept extensive notes. There is a log book that tells every time he put gas in it. It is recorded where he bought the gas from, how much gas he bought, how much gas cost per gallon, and how many miles per gallon he got. It shows when the oil was changed, when the battery was replaced, when the fuel system was serviced, when the carburetor was rebuilt, and when the alternator was rebuilt. The log book even has a screw taped in it, stating that he had to have the tires replaced because of this screw.

I have the Original Owner Manuals, Original Maintenance Books, Directions for the soft top, Original Jeep Brochure, 5-Inch thick Service Manual for the Engine, 290-Page Service Manual for The Jeep, the Original Ramsey Winch Paperwork, even newspaper articles about the CJ.

I Have All The Keys For This Jeep!!!

awsome CJ6, I have a 1970 jeep with all the same equipment yours has but it has a tail gate like a truck and it is a little longer. I have been trying to find out what it is called, (it’s not a wagoneer or a CJ6). It has a jeep top but convertible type doors (no window frame). Any ideas what it is, please let me know… Another Texas man.
