1963 Project CJ6 in Colorado

Here’s 1963 CJ6 whose owner just posted at EarlyCJ5.com. Ron writes:

“I just purchased a 1963 CJ6. I have been looking for one for a long time. Been wanting to make a very capable offroad rig out of one. TO be honest—I was just wanting the body of one so that I could build around that using fullsize truck parts. Anyway-once I found a good deal I was surprised to find that it was a nearly perfect body. Everything is there except motor. With the body so clean, Im now second guessing on wether I should continue to build it up or take this one back to original.”

    Build it all original , to modify a CJ-6 is to draw a mustache on the Mona Lisa !!!

    Better tune into ECJ5.com, Vern.  Ron has decided to do a “Restomod”...engine choice is TBD, but better brakes and steering is in the cards.
