It must be “ugly CJ6 paint week” on eBay…here’s the first of two Cj6’s in desperate need of a new look.

    Hey I won that rare gem. Shes the second CJ in my stable. I also have a 63 CJ5. It looked a little better once I took off those damn ugly hubcaps. It has AMC wagon wheels but unfortunatly there on Amc axles. Who would swap out a Dana 44 and put in a Model 20. Well I have another dana to put back in there, along with a lift kit shackles and small block chevy and some 35’s. I also picked up an almost new TigerTop for 76 bucks on ebay. One cool thing is this thing has all STAINLESS STEEL diamond plate floors. They guy who put it in was a ship builder and did a great job. As for the paint. The only thing that looks worse than this paint job is this paint job up close. Nothing a DA some prime and bright yellow paint wont take care of. Happy Jeepin.  TruckinMatt

    Hey Matt - glad to hear the 6 is in good hands.  The body - in the pics anyway - does look pretty solid under that “pretty” paint.

    I’ll be happy to post more pics of your 6 here…either in progress or when she’s done…let me know!
