Landing Leg Details

Leg in the middle position:

Close up view of where leg attaches to the hinge casting:

Leg in the down position:

I measure the leg’s height at 13 3/4”:

It’s tough to know where to measure on this part, the overall width of the loop is 5 1/4”

The leg is constructed out of 2 3/8” x 1/4” strap steel, and near as I can measure the overall length you’d start with before bending it is 34”.

On my M100 someone took off the landing leg and welded on a large wheel. Why? I got found a M100 on line and cut off the wheel.

I bought a “46” Willys jeep trailer that has some issues. One
is the landing leg.The 90 degree position hole is broken.
A welder friend is going to repair it. The bigger issue is the pin
that goes through the positioning hole in the leg. It’s froze up
and i’m not sure how it works, the handle is broke off. I have it soaking in PB Blaster.
If anyone has any info about sheet metal for one drop me a line .
